1. Where did you begin 2008?
At Raji and Liv's house party, staying up till 6am playing Singstar!

2. What was your status by Valentines Day?
Slightly up in the air- I'd started seeing Pete, but we'd only had one date! So I considered myself single, I guess.

3. Were you in school anytime this year?
Only to visit my sister's classroom!

4. Did you have to go to the hospital?
I had to go for some blood tests at the start of the year, but no overnight stays!

5. Did you have any encounters with the police?
No.

6. Where did you go on vacation?
Nowhere!

7. What did you purchase that was over €100?
A new telly, although technically we've not paid for that yet!

8. Did you know anybody who got married?
Well Lauren at work got married this year, but I didn't know her till after that happened!

9. Did you know anybody who passed away?
Yes. My Grampy. This Christmas will be strange without his array of silly hats.

10. Did you move anywhere?
Yes! To Barnet with Pete.

11. What sporting events did you attend?
None that I can think of!

12. What concerts/shows did you go to?
Mighty Boosh, Eddie Izzard, not many really.

13. Describe your birthday.
The night before my birthday i went out for cocktails with a few friends, then on my birthday I had the day off, and my sister came round for lunch with the toddlers, takeaway chinese and cake. In the evening Pete took me out to see Joseph and we had a meal out too. Quite a lot really!

14. What is the ONE thing you thought you would not do, but did, in 2008?
Meet the man I'm going to spend the rest of my life with!

15. What have been your favourite moments?
It's all been quite good, can't think of anything specific

16. Any new additions to your family?
Mum and Dad got two new kittens in May, Bertie and Maude, and then last month Pete and I adopted our kitten Buster! But no new editions of the human kind!

17. What was your best month?
May was quite good- it was when Pete and I moved in together.

18. Who has been your best drinking buddy?
Kate

19. Made new friends?
I think I've made better ones of the ones I had!

20. Favorite Night out?
All the Feeling Gloomy nights and the rare nights out with Kate

21. Other than home, where did you spend most of your time?
My sister Kate's house

I've drifted from a couple, but we're still in touch so they're not lost completely.

I've gone a bit brighter red, but that's about it!

No, I don;t have a car

Get healthier, sort out our joint account and try and get a new job!

I imagine so!

28. Buy anything from eBay?
Gamegear for my bro-in-law for Christmas, cat scratcher for Buster. Couple of other things too!

No.

30. Get hit on?
Only by Pete!

31. Been snowboarding?
No.

32. Did you get sick this year?
Had problems with my liver and immune system at the start of the year, and I kept getting throat and chest infections because of it. That seems to be sorted now though.

33. Are you happy to see 2008 go?
It's not the worst year I've ever had, so I don't really mind. Compared to 2007, it's been fantastic!

34. Been naughty or nice?
Nice I think, with a pinch of naughtiness.

35. What are you looking forward to most in 2009?
Weddings, weddings, weddings! And Sian having her second baby. More happy times with my own new little family.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Wrapping paper with curly ribbon and tags. I like going the whole hog with gifts!

2. Real tree or artificial?
We were going to get an artificial one, but I'm not sure how that's going to work now with a climby kitty in the flat!

3. When do you put up the tree?
We always say we'll wait till mum's birthday on the 12th, but it usually gets put up slightly before then!

4. When do you take the tree down?
Twelfth Night or just before if I'm going away for New Year.

5. Do you like eggnog?
Don't think I've ever had it!

I can remember really wanting "Get set colour candles".

7. Hardest person to buy for?
I would've said my dad, but now it might be Pete. He has every dvd under the sun, is fussy when it comes to clothes, and usually has all the gadgets he needs. Argh!

Nieces! They usually have specific toy requests!

No. Hmm, I might fix that!

Email, I usually leave posting them far too late.

Got some very weird things from my ex's mother in 2006, but as they were bought in a bipolar high, I think I can forgive her.

Well I did it! And it actually wasn't too bad! Apparently I'm a bleeder though, as it bled quite a bit. Fingers crossed it heals well now though!

Oh, and Tino had one too, but he fainted in the middle of his!! He went first, so I don't think his breakfast had had long enough to sink in, plus it was quite hot in the room up to that point (when they opened the window).

1. Where were you 1 hour ago?
On the bus, with an annoying woman leaning on my leg even though she had plenty of room. She moved when I kneed her in the hip though.

Proper snog-like Tino, but I imagine I will get a slurpy peck from my niece tomorrow

Hahahahahaha. If you'd seen my room you'd know why I'm laughing. Let me see; pink pen, pink heart thing, pink sheet on bed, pink throw on bed, pink tops on bed, pink drawer unit thing, pink clothes in wardrobe, pink cushions on setee, pink flowery lights, pink flower poster, pink throw on computer chair. Lots of pink! All dark pink, might I add, none of that powder pink crap.

Erm, I guess the Churchill Square Shopping centre in Brighton is kind of a mall, so about two weeks ago?

Nope, got my flippy floppies on.

Was wearing my floaty black skirt to work but changed into my shorter denim one when I got home, on top have white vest with black one over the top.

Had KFC a few weeks ago.

Pottering around Islington; went to Sainsbury's, then tidied up our garden/yard, then waited for Tino to arrive, which he did, but not till half eleven at night.

Well it's nearly the end of today! Plans for this evening are to finish listing my stuff on ebay, make food, eat food, watch big brother. Tomorrow I'm going to Kate's to hang out with her and mal in the sun.

Before I'm 30 preferably, but only if I'm in a better financial situation. That gives me four and a bit years!

Books, dvds, cds- can;t throw anything like that away, or give them away. Got a small collection of starry things too.

Never! I am a saint!

The only headphones that have ever fitted my ears properly have just broken. Only one side works. They cost me £30. I can't afford to replace them. Sigh.

Back to normal ones that hurt my ears then. Unless anyone knows where I can buy cheap "ear bud" style headphones. For about a fiver. No? Didn't think so.

Edited to say: Doh! Who has a sister in Singapore at the moment? The land of cheap electronics? Yes, me. She is going to find me some. Ebay had some from singapore listed as £12 plus postage, so hopefully they'll be even cheaper.

Guess who's going to be an Auntie for the fourth time? Meep! Kate's due in October! So it's early days yet. Quite scared though, because recently I've been having dreams where I've gone to the loo and have been gushing blood. Hope it's not some sort of premonition.

Only sad thing is that Grampy will probably never get to see this baby. Just like he'll never see any of mine. If it's a boy I hope she'll give him some sort of name to remember Grampy by.
